At the first meeting this year of the NESO Commission for Oil Security, which is an advisory body of the Chairman of the Administration of State Material Reserves of the SR in addressing crisis situations in the event of a state of oil emergency, the members of the commission provided information about the development of fuel consumption in the Slovak Republic, about the current state of the emergency stocks of oil and petroleum products and about the new level of the minimum limit of emergency stocks for 2017.

An important point of the meeting was also information about the in-depth review of the energy sector of the Slovak Republic, which will take place on 09.10.-13.10.2017 in Bratislava on the part of the International Energy Agency IEA with the participation of selected state administration authorities and representatives of the petroleum industry.
